Lithium polymer battery use precautions

scanning:38 author: from: time:2019-08-26 classify:Battery project

To ensure proper use of the lithium battery, please read the instructions for the use of the Correlon polymer lithium battery product before use.

1. Warning:

a. Do not place the lithium battery in a fire.

b. Do not reverse the positive and negative terminals of the lithium battery charger.

c. Do not short-circuit the lithium battery (P+, P-).

d. Avoid excessive shock and shock of the lithium battery.

e. Do not disassemble or distort the polymer lithium battery.

f. The battery should not be immersed in water.

g. Polymer lithium batteries should not be mixed with other types and models of batteries.

h. Keep out of reach of children.

2. Polymer lithium battery charging:

a. Charge the battery with a suitable charger.

b. Do not charge with a repaired or damaged charger.

c. Do not charge the lithium battery for more than 24H.

d. Do not charge the polymer lithium battery with the maximum charging current beyond the specification.

e. Charging voltage: Please do not exceed the maximum charging voltage specified in this specification.

f. Charging temperature: The battery needs to be charged and discharged within the specified temperature range.

g. Please use constant current and constant voltage for charging. Do not reverse the positive and negative poles to avoid damaging the battery.

h. The polymer lithium battery must be stored electrically, and charged and discharged once every three months.

3. Discharge of polymer lithium battery:

a. The discharge current shall not exceed the maximum rated discharge current of the specification. Large currents can cause lithium batteries to heat up and reduce capacity.

b. Discharge temperature: The battery must be discharged within the temperature range specified in the specification.

c. Overdischarge: The battery is over-discharged and then charged immediately without damaging the battery. However, if it is over-discharged for a long time, the polymer lithium battery will be damaged. In long-term storage, the battery may be in an over-discharge state due to self-discharge of the battery. Therefore, in order to avoid over-discharging of the lithium battery, it must be stored electrically.

4, polymer lithium battery aluminum foil flexible packaging operation notes:

a. Do not hit the battery with a sharp point.

b. Cut off your nails or wear gloves.

c. Clean the workbench to avoid sharp parts.

d. The edge seal is heated above 100 ° C and the edge seal is easy to damage the seal.

5, polymer lithium battery ear operation notes

The mechanical strength of the polymer lithium battery tab is not exceptionally strong, especially for aluminum tabs. It is forbidden to bend the tabs when it is not necessary. For ear connection, ultrasonic or spot welding is recommended; the housing should be designed so that the pole piece is not subjected to external forces. If you use a manual solder shield, the following precautions are important to ensure battery performance:

a. The temperature of the welded ferrochrome must be controllable and anti-static;

b. The temperature of ferrochrome during welding shall not exceed 370 ° C;

c. soldering time can not exceed 3 seconds;

d. The number of soldering should not exceed 5 times, and the next soldering can be performed after the pole piece is cooled;

e. It is strictly forbidden to directly heat the battery. If it is higher than 100 °C, it will damage the battery.
